Swami Sarvadevananda is a senior monk of the Ramakrishna Order of India. He joined the order in 1965 and served at Sarada Pitha, an educational and training institution for over two decades. From 1988-93, the Swami served as the head of the Ramakrishna Mission in Sikra, West Bengal. He was posted at the Vedanta Society of Southern California in 1993 and became the Minister-in-Charge of the Society in December 2012. In this capacity, the Swami addresses schools, colleges and spiritual organizations. He is the representative of the Vedanta Society in the Inter-Religious Council of Southern California and is one of the directors of the Hindu Students' Organization at University of Southern California. The Swami is widely respected and loved by devotees and monastics in America and India.
